MBLV got together in true uniformed forces spirit on Saturday to compete in the annual Walk for Life charity day. Walk for Life are a registered charity who support cancer sufferers within a 25km radius of Arboleas, in short, they do an amazing job raising much needed funds!
T shirts to the ready and Matt Douglis on his trusty dinosaur, everyone set of to complete either the 3k or 6k route and even Shrek made an appearance! The cohesion of our wonderful village really shines through on an event like this which had bags of support and encouragement for all those taking part. Some walked, some ran but I think it is fair to say, everyone enjoyed themselves, AND contributed to supporting the charity too. Celebrations continued into the night with live entertainment and bars!
Well done everyone and a huge well done to the Walk for Life team for making it happen.
