In October (2023) a portable speaker, stand and ancillaries were presented on behalf of the MBLV by Keith Martin (Secretary) to Victor, the Director of the Colegio Publico Nuestra Senora de La Asuncion (primary school) in Arboleas.
The speaker was equipment that the school desperately needed to to assist the pupils with entertainment activities and was purchased from donations made at the MBLV September Meet where over €800 was raised in just one afternoon. The monies were split between the school and the Make a Wish Foundation (Laura Rippin from Make a Wish, received the donation on the day of the Meet).
To be able to support the local community where we live is a wonderful thing indeed. The benevolence of all those who attended is really appreciated and as we always say in MBLV “When good people come together, Great things happen”.
