The March Meet was held at The Venue, Arboleas and had a great turnout of about 40 people.
There were the ‘regulars’ and also some new members, which really is great to see. The sun was shining and it was a lovely day.
The raffle raised just short of €200 and the lovely hand drawn picture of the Spitfire, sketched and donated by Casey Homer raised a further whopping €200 on the Dutch auction, that together with the lovely limited edition print, donated by one of our new members, David ‘Foxy’ Fox and his wife Debbie, and the money tree meant that everyone combined raised an incredible €507 for the chosen charity of Scotty’s Little Soldiers, back in the UK.
There were plenty of laughs, Ron Flatman and Ian, (another new member) had a bidding war which kept the auctioneer on his toes!
All in all, another great meet, spending time with like minded people, fostering friendships and creating memories.
