Christmas Dinner night this year was held at the ‘Bar Xtreme’ part of the Hostel Rural complex in Turre. This year the event was run over one night and was organised by Nicki Batchelor and Keith Martin together with their committee of volunteers and helpers. A BIG THANK YOU goes out to all those involved, thank you!
The dinner was over one night this year, the capacity of Bar XTreme allowed for all of our guests to be seated in one evening. The venue was great and decorated excellently, providing a real Christmas feel to the evening. Again there was a raffle (thank you to all donors, you rock!) and guests found out whether they won a prize on their arrival, which worked well and meant there was that little more time for dancing!
Again a big thank you to our entertainment, Cat MacDonald (Mad on Blonde) and her husband Robbie, together with Steve Jackson. Lots of laughter, drinking, more laughter and dancing was had!
As always all the proceeds were collected and split between three foodbanks, two in Albox and one in Arboleas, what a great christmas present!
